Garden donation helps fill need

Garden volunteers harvested 91.4 pounds of beets, potatoes, basil, tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce at Basin’s Backyard Garden Aug. 23.

The donation went to Ministry on the Margins. Casey Jacobson, garden volunteer, says, “I didn’t get any pictures when we were down there because it was really busy. There were many more clients than I anticipated, so there is a tremendous need. As always, the donation was much appreciated.
