Basin’s Backyard Garden wraps up first season in a colorful way

Monday was the last hurrah for Basin’s Backyard Garden. Garden volunteers worked on two projects.  First, Karen Will and Lori Leier decorated a display with pumpkins and corn stalks from the garden at the front of Headquarters.

Then, Amy Spilman, Chris Gessele and Lindsey DeKrey worked on cleaning out the garden.

In its first season, nearly 500 pounds of produce was donated from the garden. Thank you to all of the garden volunteers involved. You made it possible. We are so proud and look forward to an even bigger and better growing season next year!
