We made a pretty cool donation this week. First off, it was our biggest yet, just because so many vegetables were ready for harvest. Plus, it was the first time we started weighing the produce we donate. We figured we may as well keep track – who doesn’t love metrics?
The Tuesday donation went to the Salvation Army, and they couldn’t be more gracious. They guaranteed all the produce we delivered would be gone by the end of the day. The level of need in our community is constant inspiration to keep gardening.
